Mysuru: Entrepreneur and social worker Prabhushankar was honoured with the District Kannada Rajyotsava Award in recognition of his contributions to entrepreneurship and social service.
The award was presented at a programme organised by the District Administration as part of the Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations held at the Oval Grounds in Mysuru on November 1.
Prabhushankar was selected for the prestigious honour in recognition of his service to society and his contributions through the entrepreneurial sector.
District In-charge Minister H.C. Mahadevappa, K.R. constituency MLA Srivatsa, MLA K. Harishgowda, Legislative Council member C.N. Manjegowda, Kannada activists Mohan Kumar Gowda, Muguru Nanjundaswamy and Maddikeri Gopal, among others, were present on the occasion.
The recognition of Prabhushankar’s contributions to entrepreneurship and social service has been widely appreciated, particularly in media circles.
